Religion FLDS and the FLDS Church: The Missing Barlow & Fischer Children
Saturday Jul 06, 2024
Saturday Jul 06, 2024
Hey, Searchers,
Today’s case of The Missing Children Project is about the religion FLDS, the FLDS church, and a few missing children associated with it. Elintra Fischer and Nathan Barlow, both sixteen years old, Summer Barlow, fourteen years old, and Benjamin Barlow, twelve years old at the time of their disappearances, have not been found since January 1st and February 4th, 2023. The children went missing in Monteview, Idaho, and Cedar City, Utah. We chose this case because even though the church's prophet, Warren Jeffs, is behind bars serving a life sentence, the ripple effect of his actions continues today.
Please note: It's essential to understand that the FLDS church, The Fellowship of Latter Day Saints, is not directly linked to the Mormon Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
According to CedarCityUtah.com, up to 17 children associated with the FLDS church went missing, with six of them successfully found. But, in the case of Elintra, Nathan, Summer, and Benjamin, they have yet to come home.
This case is super complex. So, buckle up and listen closely. We want these children to be found safe and to go home to their mothers and other family members.
Take the poll to anonymously give your opinion on whether the missing children ran away, per their court documents, or were abducted. Remember to rate and review us on your favorite podcast platform or YouTube. It really helps us to fund this non-profit project. Thank you, Searchers!

Hey Friend, we are honored to have you check us out here at The Missing Children Project.
My name is Jaclyn Johnston, co-founder and host, a #1 best-selling author, owner of the brand and podcast Manifest It!®, and #1 best-selling publisher, Manifest It!® Publishing. Along with other co-founders, we formed The Missing Children Project because we went through some traumatic events during our childhoods.
While we are thankfully okay and have healed from what happened to us, we know there are thousands of minors across the United States who need our help as a community to find answers for them and their families and hopefully bring them home safely to heal and continue their lives to their fullest potential.
There are so many good true crime podcast programs that we love, and we want to raise awareness about missing children because there aren’t many podcasts surrounding this issue. We will present cases and updates to cases as we get them, including cold cases, and we plan to gather interviews from experts in the field and from family members and friends of the missing.
But we don’t want to sit here behind our microphones and talk to you about missing children. We want and NEED your help, too.
That’s why we’ve set up an anonymous tip phone line and contact form to work TOGETHER on this mission as community “Searchers.”
YOUR nickname in our community is “Searcher.” And we are ALL “Searchers” to find answers and bring children home safely to their families.
We don’t want you to miss out on ANY case. So hit that “subscribe” button, “like” our episodes, and rate and review us because we are a NON-PROFIT, community-led, and community-driven organization, and we need your help.
We thank you SO MUCH for your time and help with The Missing Children Project’s mission. You can learn more about the project at themissingchildrenproject.org and sign up to receive new case alerts sent to your inbox as we go on this journey.
Because we should never stop looking for missing children, so let’s make a difference TOGETHER.
